Review

This review applies to version 2.4 The latest version of this software will soon be reviewed by our informers.

World of Warcraft presents six totally different starting points. The game takes place at the beginning of Warcraft III and its expansion pack, and it tells the player that the conflict between the factions is ideological, and not a merely good-versus-evil thing. Depending on your starting point, players will have to undertake different quests, face different monsters, explore different territories, and so on. Another innovation in this release is that you are allowed to create multiple characters. Most of the structure of World of Warcraft is organized around questing, so players always have something to do or somewhere to go. When you die, your items' durability will also decrease, though this isn't permanent and just by paying you can get them repaired by certain types of non-player characters. Each of the character classes is really complex in their definition. The classes feel pretty distinct right from the start, though they become really interesting at the 10th level when each one gets a signature ability of some sort. Your choice of character race have a noticeable impact on the gameplay, thus making the game really attractive. World of Warcraft patch 2.4 brings many enhancements and bug fixes to the game.

As an actual RPG this game is positively horrible. Ever damn class is the same all across the world. Same gear, same talent tree, same ability rotation, etc. As an mmo this puts others to shame, but it's core mechanics are disgusting. Go buy a better game that's cheaper.,
stupid game

I enjoyed playing the game...being a ex-Dark Age of Camelot player...but some of the simple comands are impossible to find unless you cand find someone in the game to help you. Not easily done. It took me the entire trial of ten days to find someone helpful enough to help me better understand the simple parts, such as how to stick to your apponent, or how to sell and buy things off merchants. No, if you want a game worth your time and money, Go play Dark Age of Camelot. It's kinda an older game, but its graphics alone beat this game hands down
